A fast-moving cool front to our north will drop temperatures a bit today and tomorrow, with breezy afternoon conditions today. Currently we’re seeing gusts to 20mph or so in the mountains of southern Yavapai County and along I-8 in southern Maricopa. Temperatures will peak in the mid-80s in places like Aguila and Carefree, with readings approaching 90 in the central and southern zones. It will remain breezy in the zones away from the Phoenix Valley into the evening hours. Overnight lows will be right around 60 just about everywhere because of the mixing winds. Tomorrow we’ll see cooler temps, with the northern zones reaching only the low 80s and the middle 80s for Phoenix and Gila Bend. Sunday we begin to warm again as high pressure rebuilds over the region. Upper 80s will be the rule for Wickenburg and Cave Creek, with the central, western and southern zones in the low 90s.
